Overview

This face-to-face training focuses on creating observations (photos, videos, anecdotes), tagging them to developmental domains and standards, and using the assessment dashboard to guide instruction and report progress to families. It highlights how to capture observations using the Kaymbu app on phones/tablets to snap photos/videos or write anecdotes in real-time, as well as how to tag moments to specific students, teachers, and relevant learning/assessment standards (like COR Advantage indicators) Participants will also learn how to pull tagged "Moments" directly into the assessment dashboard for easier completion, and how to use the information about what areas need to be focused on to create detailed lessons to meet each child’s developmental goal. The training's purpose is to not only show how to assess, but also explain why we use assessments, the purpose behind assessing specific items, and how to utilize those assessments for further use.
