Overview
The work of serving children and families is meaningful, but it can also be demanding. Being a Champion for Kids is an engaging, motivational, and practical keynote that helps Head Start professionals reconnect with who they are, who they serve, and the purpose behind their work.
Through storytelling, reflection, audience interaction, and practical strategies, Mills "Mr. Rodge" Rodgers explores the importance of relationships, trust, dignity, and understanding the N.E.E.D.S. of children, families, and colleagues. Participants will leave affirmed in the value of their work, energized by their purpose, and better equipped to make a positive difference for those they serve. This is a face-to-face training.
