Overview

This two-hour training discusses developmentally appropriate practices for safe sleep and placing infants in containers. Together, we move through why the back is best and why babies should only be in cribs when they’re sleeping. Additionally, we will navigate through harmful effects of other containers we see babies in and what exactly makes them harmful. By the end of this training, participants will understand why allowing infants to move freely is the safest and most effective option.
