Overview
This online course explores the Foundations and Framework vol 1: 3rd Edition from Creative Curriculum which outlines the core knowledge and evidence-based research behind the curriculum. We will look at the foundational concepts and philosophies of how children learn and what we need to be aware of and consider in building relationships and inclusive environments that support overall learning. 

In this training, we will:
-Describe the beliefs and research Creative Curriculum is founded on
-Implement responsive planning with caring and teaching strategies to partner with families and children.
-Outline the five components of the framework of Creative Curriculum

4.1 Develops and models genuine, supportive relationships
4.1 j. Responds and adapts to each child, accommodating his/her temperament, personality, strengths, interests, and development pattern
4.2 Creates an environment that is predicatble, promotes interaction and learning, and is responsive to the needs of all children
4.2 a. Plans, implements, and adapts a supportive learning environment that promotes children's safety, positive interactions, and behaviors
4.5 Selects and implements developmentally appropriate, evidence-based curriculum
4.5 a. Adopts or develops curriculum that has clearly defined relevant goals, based on sound understanding of child development.
