Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
The following (bolded) items are required for each Scheduled Event on the Training Calendar:
Event Identifier: should be the County and Date of Training; Example: Cabell 1/10/23
If the training is part of a series, simply list the start date- end date. Example: Cabell 3/1/21-3/25/21. If online, use the word “Online” in the place of a county. Ex: Online 1/1/22
Date and Time: should be correctly listed (time is 8:00 am-5:00pm by default so change this to the appropriate period)
Agenda: Sample Agenda can be found in the FAQ section of the Registry *All online trainings MUST also include the Proof of Learning for that event.
Event Contact: Name, Email, and Phone Number
Funding Stream: WV Training Connections and Resources (Whom you are providing training on the behalf of); If unsure, select “Other”
Instructor: (This individual may not receive credit for attending this course; will only be you unless you are with an Entity)
Location: (This should be the name of the building or childcare center) If not found on the drop-down list, please submit a location request form. If it is online, leave this field blank and list webinar link . Please include the webinar link (if online) before you start adding attendees.
*Note: If you are cancelling an event, make sure to verify all necessary fields are complete BEFORE cancelling. Once you cancel, you can no longer access this event.
